Tammy’s passion for people and life has taken her from working with the homeless population of downtown Vancouver to her current role as the Executive Director of Freedom Quest Regional Youth Services; an organization accessed by at-risk youth and their families. Working in the human services field for over 25 years has provided her with diverse experience in direct service provision, program and organizational concepts, leadership awareness and a firm grasp in truly knowing how to supervise others.
Tammy believes that she can learn something from each person she meets, and brings that philosophy to her work here at PRIME.
Her role as Regional Manager allows her to provide guidance to others in the fields of specialized training and support along with permitting her to focus on providing teaching on an individual basis.
A lover of the outdoors, Tammy enjoys downhill skiing, playing softball and heading off on camping trips. Spending time with her three sons however, is where she finds the most enjoyment in life. Often seen with a smile on her face, Tammy holds a particular quote by William H. Sheldon to heart, “Happiness is essentially a state of going somewhere, wholeheartedly, one-directionally, without regret or reservation”.
